Julia Wyncoll

Julia’s ever constant curiosity about the body lead her to study with some of the top minds in movement. Julia is a graduate of the continuing education program with Dianne Miller, has a Body Matrix certification and was an original teacher for the Merithew-Stott studio.

Julia is a level 3 Franklin Method Educator and is on the Faculty of the Franklin Method Institute. She is proud to be offering Franklin Method workshops throughout Canada, in studios, as an experiential bridge between anatomy, and movement disciplines. The Franklin method’s influence is deeply felt in the way she teaches, encouraging students to be active partners in their learning and movement towards health.

Additionally, Julia is a certified ELDOA 2 teacher, a 3-D level 1 teacher and a FRCms ™. She brings all these tools to her teaching, using them to create joint health and promote high performance. Active recovery from sports, performance and life is crucial to continued enjoyment in our body.

Julia is a current student in both Buddhism and Psychotherapy at University of Toronto. She uses mindfulness and meditation daily in her own life to weather the ups and downs of life as a mother of three, business owner, faculty member and teacher. Working with Julia offers an invitation to reach for your very best in both mind and body.

Whether she is teaching teachers, athletes and performers, or the everyday person, Julia brings her over 25 years of expertise to the table, and sets the stage for a positive and meaningful movement session.
